Officiant

As a Wedding Officiant, I make certain that your license is in order, and that is filed within two business days. (I am also a Funeral Officiant and have taught Officiating for many semesters.)
The issuing city or town clerk issues your Marriage Certificate within five business days after receipt. If you can, get your application from any town or city in NY, except: New York City, because they will take up to thirty days to process your Certificate.

New York State law requires you to get your license twenty four hours in advance, but allows you to get it thirty days before. In cases of immigration or second marriages, sooner will be the better option.
I have also officiated in Vermont, Massachusetts and New Jersey. If you have a great story, I would love to tell it!
